My life is boring. I feel like I say that every single post. I'm sorry I haven't posted much lately. I was looking at previous posts earlier and used to be every month I posted about 4-5 times. Now I post maybe once, sorry. That is probably why people haven't been commenting lately.

I was sick since this past Sunday. I had a fever, and was very weak. I went back to school at about 12:30 today.

Again, do you guys have any ideas for posts?

Well, Friday was Unity's homecoming and it was awesome. Both teams won easily against Spalding Catholic. I think the girls could go to state, I really don't think the guys will.

This Tuesday is Jazz Festival in Sioux City, I will post some pictures of our group and maybe a video of our performance on Tuesday or Wednesday.

On Wednesday, I will be leaving school at about 12:30 to go to Sioux Falls and get my cast off!! It is so awesome. That will be a total of about 7 weeks of recovery. I am anticipating some kind of cast, possibly a walking boot.

Tonight is the Super Bowl. We knew one Manning would be in the Super Bowl, who would've thought it would be Eli, not Peyton. I don't like the Patriots at all so I'm going for the Giants.

Well that is one of the longer posts I have had in a while.

Well tomorrow I leave for OPUS in Ames. I will not post for a couple days after that. It's kinda wierd, we are ALREADY talking about that EVIL skating party.(In case you don't know, I break bones there. bad)

Well it is Monday. Sorry I forgot to post on Friday after the game. The game went late and I didn't get home until like 11:45. We won!! But I was told by Courtney that I shouldn't always talk about football.

Well today, I found out I made OPUS! I am excited. One thing though, there is 8 tenors in the state of Iowa that have a chance of getting a solo in the concert.That means I am in the top 8 tenors in the state of Iowa. That's a honor, but not totally excited about possibly having a solo.

Not much else has been going on lately. We lost to OCCS last week in football, so that kinda sucked.

Will post on Friday-Saturday.

Sorry I didn't post on Friday. Got a little busy. Well, Unity lost to Sheldon: 38-28 It was a good game though. While playing a game on Thursday, I rolled my ankle. Sadly, that is the most exciting thing this week, it tells you how bored I was this week. We start Jazz Band tomorrow. Going through kind of a rough time right now with something, so I didnt do much. Will post next week.

Football vs. Sioux Center

Well! We beat Sioux Center!!! Yah! Here is a video of Unity coming on to the field at the start of the game.

The score was 9-7. We started out 6-0 then got a field goal later. But then in the 4th quarter, the shut out was ruined with a SC touchdown. We then got the onside kick and held on to the ball. I got some still pictures also. I will put them on at a later date at the end of the season of the best of Unity football 2007.

We finally settled on a sweatshirt color...Brown with Blue Lettering. Sounds like people are happy with it,so good!

Not much else going on. I just bought Madden 08 and NCAA Football 08 so its pretty awesome!

Unity lost tonite 36-0. But they are like the #1 team in 2A. School has been going good. I'm on the sweatshirt commitee and its annoying, everyone telling me what they want. Not much going on, just posted because someone told me too.

Well school started on Wednesday. It has been pretty good so far, I dont see that big of a difference from 7th grade. Dont have too much to say, watching the Twins game right now, and YES! Joe Mauer got a double and then Torri Hunter hit him home with a HR. Mauer is on my fantasy team and torii was on my bench:( bad move by me but at least i got the run.

School Almost Starts!!!

I hate to say this but I am ready to start school. I am beginning to get bored in the afternoons. I got Mr. Crull as a homeroom teacher this year! :) I will be putting a countdown to the first day of school on the top of this blog as soon as I can. Dont have too much to post about. I'm probably going to Omaha this weekend for a little bit just to get out. Just in case anyone new on here didn't know, I did not stay injury free this summer. I strained my MC ligament and hurt my toe and could hardly walk. Next time I post will probably be the Saturday after school starts.

Sorry I havent posted in a while. I think what I will do is begin posting every Saturday or Sunday, unless something happens. I've been doing pretty good. I went camping with Cadets on Friday-Saturday. We did a lot of fishing and boating and we also played this one game forever! My brother left for Ripon,California on a serve trip Saturday. He had to meet at church at 1:30 AM!! I have to go back to Dr. Sherman(my orthopod) and he will have x-rays of both arms. He wanted to make sure that my growth plates are going good after I fell last December and broke it.

Sorry I havent posted in a while. Things have been pretty good, Im done with therapy now! Yah! I have a dentist appt on Wednesday and then a scheduled x-ray for my arm from when i broke at the skating party to check my growth plate, and then I will have NO more appointments. That is the first time since last November!!!!! Sorry I haven't posted for awhile.

Therapy has been going pretty good, I have excercises I have to do every single day about 20 times each for each of the 2. Something is up with the blog compose, I can not seem to put a Title on this post, Sorry. I went swimming today and went to Sioux City for supper.

I have therapy again on Monday at 11:00. Will try to post then on Monday.

MCL Tear

Well, I fell Monday at the pool and went to the Dr today. She sent me to the physical therapist and she said I tore my MCL on my left knee. I had electro-fusion today and a ultrasound on the knee and calf of my leg. I will go back on Thursday and she will give me some excercises to work on getting the MCL back to normal. I will not need surgery..but......... later on I have a 95% chance of getting this problem with my knee which would require MAJOR surgery. I will only get that if I do something like this again. It takes me 5 minutes to get from my living room to my bedroom, so as you can tell, my walking SUCKS!. Will post on Thursday. Happy 4th of July!

New Look

Totally changed ALL the colors,and put a side bar thing a ma bobber on. Please abide by it. Kinda depressed right now, a couple different reasons.

Next week is 4th of July!! I just bought a whole load of fireworks today in Sioux Falls. Then my parents and I went to Olive Garden for supper with some really good freinds of ours. We went there at 5:00 and didnt leave until like 7:15! Way too long. I watched one table and we saw 3 different groups come and sit by it. We were done with our meal at like 6:00 but then we kept on talking. Post again tomorrow maybe.

Last nite for small group we went to the Humble Bean and he made us hot chocolate. He then just came to our room for awhile and ate our food. Today Wierd Factor was wierd. People in my Apprintice class were getting on my nerves and some girl just said she totally loves me. Kinda Wierd.

Its about 5 o clock and I had a ok day. Had some trouble with something last nite and trying to make things right. Wierd Factor all we did was go around campus with brownies. 2nd Day so Far, Small Group

Its Tuesday now. Tuesday so far has been pretty fun, we did a cool experiment in the Wierd Factor. My small group is pretty fun. My counselor owns the Humble Bean and is really fun. I didn't fall asleep till like 1:00 AM so I've been pretty tired today so far. Tonite all the residents and commuters are going to the pool, I also might go at like 4 and meet people there. I'll try to update again tomorrow.

Its the first day of DDD. My room is WAY WAY WAY TOO WARM! We have like 3 fans on high going and it is still hot. My first class, Wierd Factor, was kind of fun, but wierd. Tim R. likes a girl in it, it is kinda funny. I'll update tomorrow again if I can get into the lab.

Scary Day

I just got back from Royale Meadows. We were having a hymn sing and when we were bringing people back, there is a rule that one activity personnel(Karen,Judy,or Me) have to stay in the room until everyone is out just in case something happens. We had the most people we ever had today and did not have enough people. Think about it 3 people for over 30 people! Judy was bringing people to Pod A and Karen and I were bringing people to Pod D. When we were leaving the pod we heard someone screaming.(My contract says I cannot say who) We went there and someone slipped out of their wheel chair and was on the ground with extreme pain. I went and hit the button for a few nurses and they got the person on pain meds and brought the person to their room. We all then got chewed out by a nurse who had just started there. I have put in over 150 hours of volunteer time and this is the first time this has ever happened. I already have had someone die when I was in their room and one person I grew to be close to die. Please pray for this person that fell.
